Countersunk Head with Draw tite upper thread, Ultracut Lower Thread Wood Screws,  Scavenger Head Screws are for Driving wood-to-wood screws and deck screws especially when driving into harder materials.  
 
Scavenger Head — Self-countersinks - clean and flush,Draw-TiteTM Upper threads — Pull wood members together,The lower threads on each UltraPro screw are the UltraCut threads. These reduce the driving torque. UltraCut threads also reduce the risk of splitting by keeping the debris clear. 

Install time is reduced with the Type 17 point found on every screw. It immediately takes hold, without the need for pre-drilling, even on hardwoods.
